Step 1 – Sowing the Seeds:
Start by sowing the seeds in seed trays or small pots filled with moist, well-draining soil. Plant each seed about 0.5 cm deep. Keep them in a sunny area with a temperature around 20–25°C for best germination.
When seedlings reach about 10–15 cm tall and have 4–5 true leaves, transplant them into the garden or larger pots. Space each plant 30–40 cm apart to allow room for growth.
Step 3 – Growing Conditions:
Purple mustard grows best in full sun and cool weather. Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist, but avoid overwatering. Apply organic fertilizer every 2-3 weeks to promote growth.
Harvest when the main stem is about 15–20 cm long and has bloomed. Cut off the top half and keep the bottom half — the plant will continue to produce smaller side shoots for a continuous harvest! 🌱
